“I have so many things I need to get done, Lord, Where do I start?”
That was my conversation with God today as I sat down with my Bible to study. My day had began very early as always, but the agenda wasn’t mine, and it certainly wasn’t God’s if it had taken me away from studying His word. It was almost as if I had misplaced my own priorities and I couldn’t find them to save my soul. It’s a good thing priorities aren’t apart of salvation. They are, however, apart of our relationship with God. I’ve never been good at keeping anything in balance for too long. I’ll do great for a short time period, and then things start building up, things I put off, things I was going to do when I got the time; and then suddenly I realize that I have a pile of things to do that didn’t get done, and some where in that stack is my relationship with God.
An Appointment with Jesus
1 Peter 2:7-9 KJV Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Do we treat the Lord as if He is precious? I know I don’t. Peter’s words stung me this morning. In my frustration of the week I had spent bits of time with Him, as if to say, “Oh look Lord, I have a few minutes before my next meeting, want to catch up?” And then I wondered why everything got away from me. The irony of these verses is the fact that verse 9 is my life verse.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Verse 8 speaks of the Jews “appointment.” They stumbled at the word of God, not believing that Jesus was the Messiah because He had not come as they expected. Their God would surely not have been born of a lowly woman like Mary and have a carpenter as a father? Their God would have been regal and royal and come with all the pomp and circumstance! And yet He did, but they had missed it because the pomp and circumstance appeared to the humble shepherds and those who were not expecting God to make an appointment with them before He came.
Am I any different? While I know and believe that Jesus came as He did, that He died as He did on the cross of Calvary; that one drop of that “precious blood” covered the multitude of sin that is in my life. But I’m still asking God to wait until I have time for Him. “I have you penciled in tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. Lord, unless something comes up.” Right? Am I the only heathen?
An Appointment with the Heir
Hebrews 1:1-2 KJV God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, [2] Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
It struck me odd this morning to think that Jesus was made Heir following His own death. He is heir of all things, as He now sits at the right hand of His Father making intercession for an ungrateful lot like me. I struggled with some issues this week on a few different levels and I wanted so badly to whine, but I knew better. I had no right to whine. Jesus has every right and yet He’s there, every second of the day listening to me, watching over me and pulling my butt from the per verbal fire when I don’t deserve it. Not only is He the heir, but He made you and I a joint heir!
Romans 8:17 KJV And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Can you believe that? My suffering is nothing compared to His, but in His humbleness He allowed me to have what He has, eve now. He has eternal life, and so do I. He has a home in Glory and so do I, He has not lost one of the children that God gave Him, nor have I, so long as they are found in Christ Jesus. Glory to God in the highest who has mercy on someone like me and allows me to be an heir of Heaven.
An Appointment with God
Hebrews 9:27 KJV And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
That is one appointment that we will all make on time. There is nobody penciling in a possible time to die. When it’s your time, it’s done. And there you will stand before Almighty God and give answer to what you did with your time on earth. For all those appointments with God that were missed.
There was a man that I had been “wondering” about his soul. As if to justify it I told myself, he’s not really even someone I know very well. But in a small town, I knew of him. He had been placed in a nursing home in another county about 20 miles away. This week I had planned on going to see if he had a mind that could understand the salvation of God. But his appointment came before I got there. I get physically sick when I think about people going out into eternity that I never seen evidence of Christ in their life.
You and I have an appointment, we know not when. We have family and friends who have an appointment and we are not guaranteed another day of opportunity with them. This morning I needed this bell ringer to remind me that my appointments were scheduled for me when called saved me. There are people He placed in my path and it is my appointment to tell them about He who has called me out of the darkness and into His marvelous light. He is so precious… why do I not treat Him so.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
What exactly does “acting a little salty mean” by the worlds standards. It is perhaps the act of being upset, angry, or bitter possibly for being made fun of or embarrassed. It’s also a characteristic of a person who feels out of place, misunderstood or not accepted. Have you ever been salty? You probably have, so let’s take a closer look at the word, through a biblical lens not that of the world.
On my mind of late has been the frustration as I keep witnessing the constant mockery of God. I can’t help but wish (in the flesh of course) that a lightening bolt would jar some quick sense into people. But God is so much more patient than I. But for how long? And how does He expect me to react toward a vile world? Good question right?
In the book of Luke, Jesus has just had dinner with the Pharisees, and it says in
Luke 14:25a KJV [25] And there went great multitudes with him:.
So He’s now left the dinner table and likely the multitudes that followed Him were a multitude of types of people, both Jew and Gentile. And he’s speaking to them in parables and stories to help them better understand what He means. That’s the difference between Jesus and the religious. The religious want you to view them as “smart,” Jesus wants you to understand. He wants you to understand so that you can then take His Word out into a lost and dying world and draw them to His saving grace. But the world doesn’t want it. They’d rather live like that religious tribe in Jesus’ day, mocking Him and pretending that they’ve got it all together when God knows their one tragedy from falling completely apart.
Saliva, Blood, and Urine Detection Times for Drug Metabolites
It is crucial to understand the detection times for different drug metabolites in various testing methods. Saliva, blood, and urine tests are commonly used to detect the presence of drugs in an individual’s system. Each of these methods has its own advantages and limitations.
Saliva Tests: Effective for Recent Drug Use
Saliva tests are often considered more effective than urine or blood tests. This is because drugs and their metabolites can be detected in oral fluid shortly after consumption. The detection window for saliva tests varies depending on the specific drug metabolite being tested my site ndtv.com/.
For example, cannabis metabolites can typically be detected in saliva within a few hours after use and up to 24-48 hours in some cases. On the other hand, cocaine metabolites may only be detectable in saliva for a shorter period of time, usually around 1-2 days. It’s important to note that these detection times can vary based on factors such as frequency of use, dosage, and individual metabolism.
Saliva tests are commonly performed using a mouth swab or oral fluid collection device. These non-invasive tests are convenient and provide quick results, making them popular for workplace drug testing or roadside screenings.
Understanding Urine Detection Times
Urine tests are one of the most common methods used for drug screening due to their wide availability and longer detection window compared to saliva tests. Different drug metabolites have varying detection times in urine.
For instance, cannabis metabolites can be detected in urine for up to 30 days or even longer in heavy users. However, occasional users may test positive for cannabis metabolites only within a few days after use. Other substances like methamphetamine (meth) can also be detected in urine for several days, while cocaine metabolites are typically detectable for 2-3 days.
It’s important to keep in mind that urine tests can yield positive results even after the drug’s effects have worn off. This is because drug metabolites remain in the body for a longer period of time, even when the psychoactive effects of the drugs have subsided.
Blood Tests: Detecting Recent Drug Use
Blood tests are considered highly accurate and can provide detailed information about recent drug use. However, they are less commonly used for routine drug screening due to their invasive nature and higher cost compared to saliva or urine tests.
The detection times for drug metabolites in blood can vary depending on factors such as the type of substance used and individual metabolism. For example, cocaine metabolites can be detected in blood within hours after use and up to 2-3 days. Methamphetamine may also be detectable in blood for a similar duration.
Blood tests are often preferred when there is a need to determine impairment or investigate recent drug use. They are commonly used in forensic settings or post-accident investigations where it is crucial to establish whether an individual was under the influence at a specific time.
My text today is from the same chapter, just a few verses down in Luke 14:28-35
[28] For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it ? [29] Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, [30] Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. [31] Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? [32] Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. [33] So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. [34] Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? [35] It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The Mockery Begins
Jesus is speaking of an unfinished work. The person in the story has begun to build a tower but can’t finish it because the money runs dry. Who can’t identify with that, especially in our current economy? An unplanned work is a failing work.
He then speaks of a King going to war, but before he goes to war he does some reconnaissance work to determine if the war should even take place. An unplanned war is a losing war.
While both of these are matters of life, they are not of the greatest concern of the Lord. That tower will eventually fall, and the war, whether it is won or lost matters not in the scope of eternity. But for those of us who say we serve the Lord are we prepared for what the Lord asks of us? And for those who aren’t, is that the cause of the mockery?
Jesus likens it to salt that’s lost its savour, no taste, nothing worthy of using. I fear that is a description of the local church.
Duration of Semenax’s Effects on Male Health
How long can you expect the effects of Semenax to last?
Many men wonder how long they can expect the effects to last. While individual experiences may vary, understanding the general duration of Semenax’s effects can help set realistic expectations. Let’s delve into this topic and explore the factors that influence how long Semenax works.

Ingredients in Semenax and Their Impact on Male Health
Key Ingredients Found in Semenax
Semenax is a male enhancement supplement that aims to improve various aspects of male reproductive health, including semen production. The effectiveness of Semenax can be attributed to its carefully selected ingredients, each with their unique contributions. Let’s take a closer look at some of the core ingredients found in Semenax and how they impact male health.
Maca Root: A Natural Wonder
One of the key ingredients in Semenax is maca root, a plant native to the Peruvian Andes. Maca root has been used for centuries as an aphrodisiac and fertility enhancer. It is believed to stimulate the production of hormones related to sexual function, such as testosterone and estrogen. By promoting hormonal balance, maca root may help increase semen volume and improve sperm quality.
Pumpkin Seed: Nutrient Powerhouse
Pumpkin seed extract is another ingredient that plays a vital role in Semenax’s formula. These tiny seeds are packed with essential nutrients like zinc, magnesium, and omega-3 fatty acids. Zinc, in particular, is crucial for healthy sperm production and overall male reproductive health. It supports the development of sperm cells and helps maintain optimal testosterone levels.
The Science Behind the Selected Ingredients
To understand how these individual ingredients contribute to the effectiveness of Semenax, it’s important to delve into their scientific mechanisms. Maca root contains bioactive compounds called macamides and macaenes that have shown potential benefits for sexual function by acting on specific receptors in the brain associated with libido and fertility.
Similarly, pumpkin seeds contain high levels of antioxidants that protect sperm cells from oxidative damage caused by free radicals. Pumpkin seed extract has been found to enhance blood flow to the genital area, promoting healthier erections and supporting overall sexual performance.
Research Supporting Ingredient Use
The use of these ingredients in Semenax is not arbitrary; it is backed by scientific research. Numerous studies have investigated the effects of maca root on male sexual health, with promising results. For example, a study published in the journal Andrologia found that maca supplementation significantly increased semen volume and sperm count in healthy men.
Similarly, research on pumpkin seed extract has highlighted its potential benefits for prostate health and male fertility. A study published in the Journal of Medicinal Food showed that pumpkin seed oil improved symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition that can affect semen quality and overall reproductive function.
Interactions and Contraindications
When considering any supplement, it’s essential to be aware of potential interactions or contraindications with specific ingredients. While Semenax contains natural ingredients, it’s always wise to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new dietary supplement regimen. This is especially important if you have pre-existing medical conditions or are taking medications that may interact with the ingredients in Semenax.
Enhancing Male Reproductive Health with Semenax
Semenax combines the power of natural ingredients like maca root and pumpkin seed extract to support male reproductive health. These carefully selected ingredients work synergistically to promote optimal semen production, improve sperm quality, and enhance overall sexual performance.
By incorporating Semenax into your routine, you may experience an increase in semen volume, improved fertility markers, and enhanced sexual satisfaction. However, as with any dietary supplement, individual results may vary. It’s always best to consult with a healthcare professional before adding any new supplement to your daily regimen.
There is an expectation from the Lord regarding His servants. Much like the local festivals going on in our part of the world right now, it’s an honor when people are chosen to represent those organizations as Kings and Queens with all the pomp and circumstance of the affair. But here we are as the body of Almighty God, treating our position like that of a peasant. We’ve lost our flavor and we’ve left a bad taste in the mouth of the world and the worst part of all, a bad taste in the mouth our Lord. When He says he would “spew” them out in the book of Revelation it was likely because of the worthless flavor of the church. There was no spice!
What bout now? I heard someone suggest yesterday, that when we go to a church we should ask them, “When you hear the word evangelism, who is the person that comes to mind in your church.” He said he was at a church of 2,000 people and when he asked that questions they gave him the name of one person. That’s a sad indictment against that church, but is it any better in our own? I am blessed to say that we do have people that come to my mind when I hear the word evangelize, but not near enough.
So my food for thought for both you and I is “are you salty.” When you’re in the world do your words add salt to wounds of a hurting world. We have what will heal them. But are we using it? I’m not asking only for a friend, I’m asking for me. Am I using what God gave me to heal the broken world…
Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
Apostle Paul’s words to the Church of Colosse came from behind prison bars to a church facing persecution in a manner most of us cannot perceive. America isn’t the godliest of nations right now, but for certain we’re not facing what other countries are by way of the persecuted church. His words, God’s word, pierced my soul this morning. How many times has God opened a door for me, and I have failed to open my mouth for Him. Most of the time it’s for fear of unpreparedness for what to say, how to answer; knowing full well that Christ has never failed through the Holy Spirit to give me what I needed.
An Open door
Friday night’s for me are most usually spent playing music with friends. It’s not a Christian venue, it’s a barn in the middle of nowhere called Munday Road. Currently it’s a building in town because the barn is too cold. But back to the story of Friday night. I prepared my music for the evening, a few bluegrass standards and a few gospel songs to finish the set. I prepared my heart that I was going to get a word in for Jesus before the night was done. I finished my set with “Somebody Touched Me,” and uttered something at the end about that happening in 1996 and hoping everyone there had been touched in that way. I don’t feel that that is what the Apostle Paul had in mind when he prayed that God would “Open the door of utterance.”
I was lame at best.
What is it that causes us, me, to cower down in sharing the gospel to a lost and dying world?
Lord, let me walk bravely through an open door, knowing that You are waiting on the other side.
An Open mouth
An open mouth is not my problem, I can talk with the best of them. But speaking the mystery of Christ can be a mystery to me, who fancies myself (not a bible scholar) but one who understands the basics of the word. I also understand the basics of the Holy Spirit. He speaks to my soul, and my mouth should bear witness of what I heard. And in the confinement of the church walls I can do it! Outside is another issue.
The worst I’ve ever experienced in sharing the gospel is not the hatred of a lost world, it’s the know it all saint that loves to dispute scripture rather than win souls. It casts a shadow of doubt up on myself and squelches the Holy Spirit moving in me.
As I was getting ready to leave Friday night I invited a couple of the musicians to church on Sunday, the response cut. She questioned me about the location of the church and then quipped, “I don’t like snooty people.” They’d been looking for a church and just hadn’t found the right one. I understand that… I don’t have much for snooty people either.
Lord… let my open mouth be tempered with grace.
An Open mind
I believe that walking in wisdom is lacking in church today. It requires a mind that’s open to the leading of the Holy Spirit without regard for location or circumstance. Paul was jailed for sharing the gospel, yet from the jail he continued to serve. He is a notable character quite often for the fact that he was a religious somebody before he became a part of Christ’s body. He was schooled in the finest institutions of the day. Yet the wisdom that Paul now depended on is the very same wisdom that we have access to. That thought made my brain hurt this morning. Perhaps it’s the 3:30 a.m. wake up call I received from the Lord today, but I don’t think so. Paul had to learn anew the faith of Christ. All the wisdom of the world and religion wouldn’t prepare him for what he was going to face. Only Christ could do that.
Many religious institutions of our day are sending out men and women who are relying upon their own wisdom, not the leading of the Holy Spirit. I’ve sat in more services than I care to remember when the “big words and big britches” lost their purpose of sharing the gospel to the commoner who sat in the audience needing the “basics” of the Word of God.
Lord… keep my mind open to Your Spirit today that I will share Your words, not mine.
I’m sure there’s a million others that we could come up with, but those were at the top of my list this morning as I pondered that question. I find myself thinking a lot about Heaven, especially the more wicked this old world gets, and the more Christians are viewed as the enemy.
Monday’s are my Long Term Care Facility visiting day. I spend about an hour with the residents singing songs, sharing the gospel and listening to their testimonies. Yesterday, every time I’d sing an old hymn, they’d talk about their childhood and remembrance of hearing it sung in an old country church. We are still blessed with many “Old Country Churches” in our part of the world. Unfortunately many have closed their doors because somewhere along the line the congregations drifted and no longer filled the pews. That’s a reality check for us all on Sunday mornings as we look around at the empty seats in our own church. At least it was for me.
It also brought me to those 10 questions…
What did the doctor say?
There won’t be any doctor appointments in Heaven, Glory to God!!!!
Want to hear some good gossip?
There won’t be any.
Is there a deacon’s meeting this week?
No board, business or bantering in Heaven. God’s got it all under control. He does here too… we just fail to listen.
Did you read the obituaries?
We’ll be living with the Good News. There will be no death.
Why are you sad?
What would we be sad about in a perfect land?
What’s the latest trend on twitter?
Twitter?
Is that bread fresh?
Oh yes!!!!!That brings joy to this bread lover’s heart. I love biscuits and hot rolls, but I love the Bread of Life so much more. It’s all good.
What church do you go to?
Glory to God the same one!!!! Why can’t we understand that now and play better together for those of us who believe in the blood bought path to Heaven through Jesus Christ.
Are you saved?
Of course, else we wouldn’t have made it there.
A lost person’s name.
The saddest of all. There will not be second chances when Jesus returns and yet we treat life as if we all have a thousand years before He returns to take the church home. Who of us doesn’t have a lost loved one that we can’t imagine life without? It will be the case if we don’t get busy…
